Lampoon Magazine is seeking a Web Editor, demonstrating advanced knowledge of Wordpress functions and SEO, responsible for:- Implementing new features and functionality into the current website Management;
- Upkeep of the Lampoon website;
- Collaborating with the Content Editor and Managing Editor to manage the online content calendar and to curate feature ideas;
- Collaborating with third parties for implementation of new functionalities;
- Verifying content and ensuring that content follows Lampoon’s editorial guidelines;
- Optimizing all content (headlines, meta-descriptions) with SEO-optimized keywords, as well as researching new changes and trends in SEO;
- Ensuring the high-performance and speed of the website;
- Planning and management of digital advertising, where needed;
- Planning and management of Lampoon’s different social media platforms.
Descrizione del profilo ricercato
- Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Magento and Shopify);- Knowledge of a variety of digital advertising tools, including AdWords;
- Excellent Wordpress technical abilities and project management skills;
- Understanding and interest in the niche magazine publishing industry;
- Excellent understanding of front-end technologies;
- Excellent understanding of SEO best practices, optimization, and keyword research;
- Strong in conflict troubleshooting;
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
